How to connect DNS to the main providers?

This page contains instructions for making DNS changes at major vendors.


If your provider is not listed below, you should find the documentation from your DNS provider or your preferred search engine for instructions on how to add a CNAME DNS record. Do not hesitate to contact us if you need help.


DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate. We recommend that you use the www.whatsmydns.net tool to check the status of your DNS records on different regions of the world.

1and1.com


  1. Log in to your admin.1and1.com account .
  2. Click the Administration tab if it is not already selected.
  3. Click Domains . The domain administration page appears.
  4. If there is already a DNS record for your site's domain, edit this record and proceed to step 6. Otherwise you must create a record by clicking New and then Create Subdomain .
  5. Enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  6. Check the box corresponding to the domain. (Example: www.example.com)
  7. From the DNS menu , select Edit DNS settings .
  8. Click the radio button next to CNAME .
  9. Next to Alias , enterwww.example.com.fasterized.com.
  10. Click OK.


gandi.net


  1. Login to your account gandi.net .
  2. Click the Administration tab , and click Control Panel .
  3. Click on the domain affected by the DNS change, and go to Technical Settings .
  4. Click Manage DNS zone file .
  5. If there is already a DNS record for the domain of your site, then edit this record. Otherwise, click Add an entry to create a record.
  6. For each field:

    • Name : Enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.

    • Type : select CNAME .

    • Value : enterwww.example.com.fasterized.com.

  7. Click Submit .
  8. You should be back on the list of recordings. Click Submit Changes .


godaddy.com


  1. Log into your account www.godaddy.com by clicking on the My Account tab .
  2. Below the Domains header , find the domain affected by the change and click Launch to the right of that domain.
  3. Below the DNS Manager header , click Launch .
  4. In the CNAME section , if there is already a CNAME record for your site's domain, you can anywhere on the lines of the CNAME record to edit it. Otherwise click on Quick Add .
  5. On the line that appears, enter the following information:

    • Host : Enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.

    • Points to : Enterwww.example.com.fasterized.com.

    • TTL : Leave the TTL value on the default selection.

  6. Click the Save Zone file button at the top or bottom of the page.
  7. Click OK in the pop-up.


ovh.com


  1. Log in to your OVH.COM account .
  2. Select the domain on the left menu.
  3. Then click on the DNS zone tab .
  4. If there is already a DNS record for the domain of your site, then edit this record. Otherwise create a new record ("Add a DNS Entry" at the top right) by choosing CNAME in step 1, to get a form with fields for Subdomain and Target .
  5. In the Subdomain field : Enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  6. Enter www.example.com.fasterized.com.in the Target field (the end point is important)
  7. Click Next  and then  Confirm .
  8. Delete all the records wwwother than the one you just created (including TXT records)
  9. Delete the root TXT record that points to Welcome / Welcome (but not SPF records for example)


aruba.it


  1. Log in to your admin.aruba.it account and navigate to the Control Panel and click on DNS .
  2. Click the Manage button in the CNAME Record section .
  3. If there is already a record for the domain of your site, then edit this record. Otherwise create a new CNAME record by typing in the Host field the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  4. In the CNAME Name field , enterwww.example.com.fasterized.com.
  5. Click Continue , and then Save Settings to save the changes.


bluehost.com


  1. Log in to your cPanel account www.bluehost.com .
  2. Select the DNS Zone Editor icon in the Domains section .
  3. Select the domain to edit.
  4. If there is already a DNS record for your site's domain, then edit this record and proceed to step 6. Otherwise, scroll down and click Add DNS Record .
  5. In the Name field , enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  6. Leave the TTL field on the default.
  7. On the Type drop-down menu , select CNAME .
  8. In the CNAME field, type www.example.com.fasterized.com.
  9. Click the Add Record button to create the record.


dreamhost.com


  1. Log in to your panel.dreamhost.com account .
  2. Click Domains on the left and select Manage Domains from the menu.
  3. Click the DNS link under the selected domain.
  4. If there is already a DNS record for your site's domain, then edit this record and proceed to step 6. Otherwise create a new record.
  5. In the Name field , enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  6. In the Type field , select CNAME .
  7. In the Value field , typewww.example.com.fasterized.com.
  8. Click on the Add Record Now! to create the record.


hosteurope.de


  1. Log in to your kis.hosteurope.de account .
  2. Select the menu Administration -> Domain Services -> Administration -> Edit AutoDNS domains . The list of your domains is displayed.
  3. Click Edit to configure the domain, a 3-section page is displayed.
  4. In the DNS Entries section , you can create a new record on the last row of the table. If there is already a DNS record for your site's domain, edit it.
  5. In the Hostname field , enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  6. In the For the Zeigt Auf (Type) field , select CNAME .
  7. In the last column, which is the value field, type www.example.com.fasterized.com.
  8. Click Neu Alegen (New Record) to create the recording.


namecheap.com


  1. Log in to your Namecheap account .
  2. Go to the Domains tab and click Manage Domains .
  3. Click on the domain name affected by the change.
  4. In the left menu, click All Host Records . If this menu does not exist on your console, it is likely that your domain is using a third-party nameserver, and you will need to configure the domain on that third-party provider's site rather than on namecheap.
  5. If there is already a DNS record for your site's domain, edit this record. Otherwise create a new line in the Subdomain Settings section .
  6. In the Host Name field , enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  7. In the IP Address / URL field , enterwww.example.com.fasterized.com.
  8. In the Record Type field , select CNAME Record .
  9. Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.


transip.nl


  1. Log in to your transip.nl account .
  2. Under the Domain & hosting heading , click the domain you want to edit.
  3. In the Domain menu , click DNS Management .
  4. If there is already a record for the domain of your site, edit this record. Otherwise create a new record.
  5. In the Type column , select CNAME .
  6. In the Name column , enter the prefix of the domain to which you want to add a record. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, simply enter www.
  7. Leave the TTL column at the default value.
  8. In the Value field , typewww.example.com.fasterized.com.
  9. Click Save .
